Seeking community input on Harrisburg’s financial recovery
As the Act 47 Coordinator for the City of Harrisburg we are seeking community input on Harrisburg’s financial recovery. We are conducting two public meetings to answer questions and get input from residents and businesses.
·Meeting 1: Monday, Feb. 28; 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.
Location: YWCA, Highmark Room, 1101 Market St., Harrisburg
This meeting will begin with a presentation and then input will be gathered in a question and answer format.
·Meeting 2: Monday, March 7; 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.
Location: Heinz-Menaker Senior Center, 1824 N. 4thSt., Harrisburg
This meeting will begin with a presentation and then input will be gathered in smaller groups. Participants will engage in conversation regarding their priorities for City services and provide input on potential strategies for trimming expenses and increasing revenues.
